The hotel offers a spacious room with a view out on the Firth of Forth, which is large and clean, although the bathroom showed signs of damp. The aggressive scent system triggered my hay fever, but overall, it's a very bright bedroom with a bigger than expected en suite featuring high ceilings.

7.4/10

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and spacious rooms, overlooking the Firth of Forth, and a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and welcoming, although the service lacked a bit of creativity. The location was convenient, though a bit noisy at times with teenagers nearby. The dining experience was good overall, even though prices were a tad high for what was offered. The facilities met expectations, with a few positives and negatives to consider.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were large and clean, but the bathroom showed signs of damp and had an aggressive scent system that triggered my hay fever. However, the view of the Firth of Forth and the very comfortable bed were highlights.
Service
7.0
The staff were friendly and welcoming, yet not incredibly creative in their service approach.
Location
7.0
The location was fine, a little way out of town but easy to walk to, with a lovely view and access to commodities. However, it could get crowded and noisy with nearby teenagers.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was good overall, particularly with grilled meats available. However, the prices were a bit high for essentially pub food.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were up to standard, offering a pleasant dining area and amenities for guests. However, the noise level from nearby teenagers was a downside.
